The best way to introduce new viewers to the realm of anime is to introduce them to it slowly and cautiously. This means avoiding hardcore anime shows such as Ghost In The Shell and Berserk, and instead showing people softer shows with a touch of Americanism in them such as Dragon Ball Z or Cowboy Bebop. Shows such as Naruto and Samurai Champloo are also good shows to use to introduce new viewers to the field of anime.
